Just installed my short ram...
I just got back from my garage installing the intake
Couple of questions:
You know the 3/8ths of an inch rubber hole for the O.E PVC breather it plugs into the short ram..well I tore it when I was trying to remove it after I wanted to repostition my filter but I figured its nothing major since all it does is join the filter pipe to measure air flow and I just patched up the tear w. electrical tape it should be alright right?
Also I thought the good wouldn't close because it seemed close to the hood when closed but it closes fine.
Intake sounds ALOT louder (not at idle but when giving it throttle) sounds like I have an exhust I unplugged my battery to reset my ECU and just plugged it back after I was done and idled for 5 mins runs nice now gives a nice VROOM VRROOM!

It wasn't a hose thats on the engine its the hose "adapter" that comes with the AEM air filter. It just makes a snug fit for the thing that comes off the engine PCV and it seems pretty snug.
its the 3/8th hose thats 2 inches long... i
and yes I am talking about the hose that goes to the inatake from the engine
