Made a tint appointment...talk me out of it...?
So i decided i needed a little something to keep my interior from fading and keep it a bit cooler.
i don't want anything "ghetto", so i made an appointment for thursday to get 35% all the way around for 165$..
What do you all think? Follow thru with it or not?

Completely agree. Then again, I don't like tint on 5th gens either.

Not to dark and wont make that much of a difference in cooling it down either.
I HAD 5% that makes a difference temp wise, but just too damn dark at night to see whats behind you like backing up and so on.
35% will be good and keep ya legal so go for it, to each his own man.
I say it looks good on the Civics.

It's a good time in LV with some dark windows. I have limo in the back 3 and just under the legal limit up front. Makes that hatch look mean (and the local rex population looks sweet with the same), and it really helps in the summer 117 degree heat (considering that it gets upwards of 145 inside while parked in the daytime without it)!
Make sure you get a warranty though, otherwise you will have a bubble-fest all over the car in a year or less.

Go for it, you wont regret it.If you haven't already, ask what kind of warranty they have on there work.
I didn't really like tinted Hondas, before. Then, I purchased my EF. Ugliest tint in the world, its purple and peeling (been on the car since 1992) - but I love not having the sun beaming down on me. AC or not, you can have it cranked up all the way but in the middle of the damned 100 degree summer, that heat beaming down on your legs, etc can get uncomfortable as hell.
So, sooner or later, I'm going to have my tint redone. Because now that I have it, I wouldn't give it up. No scorching hot steering wheels, no burning up seats when you get in the car, etc.

Hes not in my car, what are you talking about?
This "what if" stuff doesn't matter. If he is getting a light tint, which I assumed he was, due to local laws, then he'll be able to see in and out of his car just fine.
No offense or flame intended - I see your point, but still. It could be reversed, is all I'm trying to say. Privacy is an issue to some people.
