Job Description:
This position is responsible for assembly, rebuilding, testing and development of all dampers / shock absorbers that Ground Control sells---–to include: Advance Design Racing Shocks primarily, but also Koni, Moton and QA-1
Responsibilities:
Oversee assembly and help assemble Advance Design Racing Shocks.
Oversee in-house light machining and honing processes.
Verification of accuracy, content, assembly and coordination of racecar suspension kits.
Analysis of blueprints, and quality analysis of machined components.
Maintenance of records relating to design and installation of Advance Design valving codes.

Qualifications:
BS degree in engineering and 1-3 years experience in design / installation / service of shock absorbers /dampers.
In lieu of degree, a minimum of 5 years experience in design/installation/service of automotive suspension.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Personal computer skills to include: word-processing, excel, and AUTOCAD. Knowledge of Solid works a plus.
Understand process of machining projects and requirement to document all changes and deviations to specifications.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. BS in Engineering or directly related equivalent.
2. 2-5 years experience in high performance auto or racing
3. Be able to pass drug screen and background check

Advance Design Racing Shocks is a separate office and machine shop, within the Ground Control building, situated in a rural business park.
