Look at the rate of acceleration....

that is pretty damn quick IMO...

The Teg belongs to Tony The Tiger here on HT.com...when it was NA....it is now ITB/Turbo'd....

Well wuts the last registered speed in MPH? Likely 130mph. Or divide by 1.6...here...I just did it for you...140mph....

You guys need to squint a bit more as the 140mph is clearly visible in the video....but just like you guys south of the border.... US &gt; all

 

it seems to be making power all the way to 9000rpm and also it goes through the revs pretty quick. Maybe it has a 4.9 final and a light weight flywheel. It looks like 0-60 in about 6 sec. Nice launch too

The car uses a 99ITR tranny for gearing.... so no final drives at all.

Tony does some pretty crazy work tho....something like 51mm ITBs with 13ish compression or more when he was NA....

I know the cams were Toda Spec B's when that video was made. Not sure about the bottom end.

 

might have to put some spec B in my Jdm itr. My goal is 200 whp.

 

i remember this video from long time ago..

i believe it's a 2L built gs R.. with itr gauge ...not an ITR.

i'm not 100% sure.. but that's what i remember

 

Tony the tiger from Toronto, Ontario, Canada... that vid was shot on a completely NA motor, I think it was making a 250 WHP... he is now Turbo'd w/ ITB's.... Its even faster... man the vid was shot years ago and I still see it floating around the net.

I remember seeing that teg in action in toronto, man was it ever fast
he was pretty much unbeatable in the streets
i just never imagined tony going turbo he was so against it esp on a honda he was a hard core NA guy

Its not an R, its a gsr motor.

That green teg is one serious car

my car will have 12+ compression N/A setup.. this one makes me wanna go boost .. that car will make my N/A R look SLOW

if you watch the video it says mph also,

it's just like our tachs but swapped
(it has kph on the outside an mph on the inside in smaller numbers)

it stops at about 140mph

 

cool video... i also just spent the past 15 minutes checking out the other clips on the site. Some are cool, some are meh

 

God...that thing runs through 1-3 REALLY fast.

Same here, I really never thought of going turbo until the day I discovered the potential of high compression ball bearing turbo setup with ITB's. The car revs like an NA car but with 300+ WHP Only drawback was the time involved to tune the setup, but I had no probs with that.

Brief facts on the NA (3 year-old) video:

USDM ITR transmission (should be obvious looking at the RPM/km/h)

Hytech Header
Apexi PowerFC
215 WHP
Toyo RA-1 tires I believe
Roughly 2600 lbs without driver
