My A/C is... weird.
Well, since I converted the car over to R-134A it has been acting funny. The A/C will cycle on and off.. meaning it will blow cold for five to ten minutes, then start blowing warmer and warmer air until I shut it off, wait five minutes and then cut it back on again. Then it will work fine for five or ten minutes.
I remember when I had this problem with my old LX someone said it was some sort of switch, i.e. a cycling switch or something of that nature. They said it was freezing up and that these cars were famous for that problem.
Anyone have any ideas what it is and where I can find it so I can yank it out, throw it away and get a new one? Thanks in advance.

yeah, I think it's the txv valve. I've been trying to research it as well, but have not got a definite answer on it. I am having the same problem, well mine never actually really gets cold anymore. But, that valve is supposed behind the glovebox. I read somewhere on here while researching r134a not cold, and on one thread, the guy was talking about a coil on the blower, can go bad. it is held on by two screws, well I fold the coil it has residue on it, but I don't remember the thread to find out if you can clean it instead of replacing it.

I think you may be confused.
The part on the blower motor is the blower resistor. It has nothing to do with the cooling; when it goes bad, your blower just doesn't work on the lower settings.
For example, when my blower resistor went out, my blower didn't work on levels 1 or 2.
