Default door won't open

My door will not open.

I have shaved doors and Autoloc silanoids. The Autoloc system is working by pulling back the rod but it is not opening. The door is unlocked cause i push it down and pull it back up. But it seems that it is still locked for some reason.

These are the things that i tried already.
-Pulling on the rod manualy
-disconecting the battery
-unlocking it with the electric lock.

The drivers side door works fine its just the passanger side that wont open.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Brandon

Perhaps the spring that pulls the hook back is sticking? The only problem is I think you need to open the door to get to the screws that hold the mechanism in place. Have you tried pulling the inside handle and pushing really really hard on hte door?

You can pull the door panel, follow the rod from the lock to the actual mechanism and try to unlock it at the mechanism itself. Maybe teh rod popped off. they usually have alittle plastic clip that holds the rod, they can break or pop off.

is it ur backdoor or front??? if it backdoor, maybe u have the childproof lock in place???? if not then my best guess is there is something blocking or preventin the hinge(iono how to spell it right) from open it, it at the end of the open rod, juss check behind where the door handle use to be and make sure nuthin is blockin it...hope that help

Here's an idea. Don't have shaved doors. They're stupid.

I can't wait until a few days later, when you come back wondering how the hell you're going to open your doors with a dead battery.

listen there is quite a few things it could be like ur lacth could be rusted u know the one that keeps the door shut or it could be that the rod is connected in the wrong place also this has happened to me i had the same problem with my old ones and come to find out the guy that instoled them put the rod on backwards so u might check that

I think something is wrong with the latch.

I know its not the shaved door handle system. I tried to pull on the rod with my hand and it still wont open. The rod is hood up right also.
My last resort is to try and take off my latch. That will be kinda hard with the door on and the door pannel on also.
