I take it this is mounted where the ITR sits. Nice camera system, but it's no good if you are not watching when the theives decide to come and take it.

At least you would have something on video if it's recorded, though. Seems kind of pricey though.

You can piece together a better system using X-10 cameras, which offer both night vision and wide-angle lenses, and spend about 1/4 the money. Go to WalMart and get a 13" TV w/built in VCR ~$100, record on EP which is around 8hrs, good for one night, record over it every time you sleep. It would be extra evidence against anyone who would try to take your car. You can get amazing package deals on wireless cameras from X10.com for around $200-400 dollars.

The best security is subtlety.

Keep a low profile with your car, that's as cheap or expensive as you make it.

Show it off, and prepare to have it stolen. Plain and simple.
