Call me a half-***, but rather than replacing those lines I'd use a vice grip on the stripped hex nut that a line wrench wasnt used on

seeing those cicadas made me remember the cicada infestation along the east coast last year, seeing those poor little fellas had it easy getting waxed alive. I used everything I had to cause havoc on those suckers

while you mentioned Len, and I never gave him props..
He was helping me out a while ago with some parts... although i messed up my lower ball joint and just gave up and had the dealer do the labor, Len was a pretty nice guy and I give him 2 thumbs up.
And I checked the work the dealer did, and they didn't do stupid **** like what happened to your R. i guess it just depends on the mechanic..
And those damn cicadias are annoying

Sorry to hear about the car, If I had known that Acura had treated my car so badly, I wouldn't have taken it there.
As for not working on it myself, I just don't have the mechanical expertise...

I visted a friend Akron, Ohio back in '02 during the summer and just the sound those cicadas drove me crazy! It was all day and night.
I seriously thought someone had left on that type of sprinkler that makes the clicking sound.

Whoa, the dealership did that, no way!!!!
Anyways, for those about concerning about work done at dealership, I made a thread to help out others whom been unsatisfied with the service.

Thanks for the advice Bert. Since the Acura dealer did such a good job servicing my car, this particular dealer doesn't get the pleasure of performing any service on my parents MDX...

I know what you mean. I"ve seen and heard many stories. Some of them are true but most of them are hard-earn people that actually care.
Its funny what I've seen in the past 6 years. Honda customer tend to be cheap when it comes for service, whereas Acura customers, they tend to pay whatever it takes.
Vice versa, Honda service tends to be flexible to care for your needs, whereas Acura service, most of them care alot, not for your buisness but to build a relationship.
Then you got your dealers that just want your money and don't give a crap who you are. That would be me, lol
