Default hach issues

just bought a hatch, is a cx model.. was wired to mate with a b16. car was stolen for the motor.. i recently bought a d15b jdm vtec swap.. just wonder'n if i have to change the wires back at all.. also i just read on here that the d15b tranny has lsd. is this true? i bought the motor tranny combo for a pretty penny.. wish i hadn't but oh well , i hear theres lots that can be done with this motor... any feed back?

nope. just use a d16z6 harness.

LMAO.

Don't do that. You can find one for much cheaper than $100, and you can keep your JDM harness.

jdm harness's worth anything? also, anyone know about the d15b tranny having lsd? does this motor rip in the hatch's? i had a different hatch with a hx vtec and a cx tranny.. ran pretty hard.. at the top of third on a down hill i held with 3 si coupes , cross'n the 205 bridge in WA.. can i expect the same with this motor?

They go for about $150 easy... someone wanting to swap in a VTEC motor will pay good money for it. I was about to untill my friend who owns a junk yard called me b/c he knew I was looking for one.

If it's an LSD it should have an LSD stamp on it. Also, I believe that if you remove the axels from the tranny and can see directly through it, that will indicate that you have an LSD.

I'm not sure if the second way I listed how to check for an LSD is correct, I read it somewhere here on HT. But, check for the LSD stamp.
