Ya ever get behind the wheel and just feel like your IQ dropped a few points? That's the American Iron baby.

OK, so I was driving near CR-X..

It ain't a tight car if it ain't a... Hemi?

Spent a crapload on gas...

Dusty in the Amana Colonies (Iowa)... musta taken one too many gravel/dirt roads

Yep, gasserific. I can get 14.7 MPG highway if I drive like an ***. I can get better than 18 MPG if I really really try. Sister in law Angela rode along.

Fun weekend dirtying up the new Durango. I picked it up Thursday. 17" chrome wheels, towing package, 4x4, Hemi, Mineral Grey, Grey leather, Navigation, 6 disc in-dash changer with MP3 playback and 384 watt stereo (incl. subwoofer).

Gas mileage isn't the bestest, but ya know, it's comfy, and I don't feel so paranoid about getting hit from way up here. Makes for a nice commute to work, too.

I needs a trailer first!

I found a place in Waukegan selling good trailers, Texas Bragg and Behnke (etc.).. dunno about prices yet, I need to make it there during business hours.

Anyone know of one for sale in Chicagoland/Milwaukee?

I agree. There was a GT2 calling your name

Nice Durango. It'll be nice to be able to tow the car to track events.

Most importantly though. What did you get at the Mega Deli?!?!?!?!!1

My father-in-law has an '05 Durango. Dodge trucks have come a loooong way. It's no '92 Ram 250 turbodiesel, but it's still a pimp sled

Rent a Uhaul like me the first time or so for a short distance if you can't find a good one to buy.

Gotta admit though with the pricing the way it is these days and the rebates and offerings, I just may buy American again next spring when it's time for a new DD.

There is one in Hoffman Estates.
The owner doesn't use it too much.

Algonquin Road?

yeah Anton, I'll probably rent the first time.

I've been talking to the wife about a "small" supercharger for the truck, let's just say that didn't go over very well.

I think that's just too much trailer. Only looking to spend maybe $1000-$1700, plus the tow limit with this rear end is only 7500 or something. I could get 8700 with the lower final drive, if I really needed it.

LOL!! You kinda look like the guy from that movie...The New Guy.

Take another picture of yourself giving us that look that he used to make the *whip* noise!

Nice truck by the way. Bump for a pic of a smoky burnout
