For Sale or For Trade: B18C5 Type R Short Block
Will consider trades for Turbo parts or B-Series Tranny.
Only comes with: B18C5 Bare Block (bored 40 over), main caps/girdle and oem bolts, ITR Rods, ARP Rod Bolts, ITR Topline Pistons (40 over), ITR Crank, oil squirters. ** I will also now include a new set of ACL bearings (my machine shop speced it all out and ordered the appropriate sized ACL bearings)
The block has had a fresh hone, the pistons have been blasted, the rods have been polished, the crank has been micro-polished. It's ready for assembly.
This is a replacement short block that I purchased from Len at Baranco Acura. You can see the orange paint. This was previously used in my H2 Honda-Challenge race car. It was pulled because I have moved to the H1 class and now run a LS/VTEC setup.
Note: The crank was turned by my machine shop ... There is a small nick towards the top of cylinder #3 ... I estimate about an 1-1/2" down ... I don't think that this will be a problem though.
Asking $800 obo. I think that's fair ... but if not, tell me otherwise. I will ship at buyer's expense. Paypal preferred.
