What's the big difference between CRX and a hatchback? The chassis is still the same. Yes..it will fit. It's been done hundreds, maybe thousands of times. Try searching for threads.

" Why search there's plenty? I didn't mean to sound like a Dick or anything but c'mon guys cutt hommie some Slack. Anyways..

Wow. And we hate it when people come in with retard ******* questions that can be answered if they just click the ******* search button, THATS WHAT ITS THERE FOR. And we tell people to click the search button so they'll ******* learn how to use it, and down the line if they have any other questions, theyll use the search button and find the answer, instead of adding to the already cluttered forum their question thats probably been covered many times over. Plus they'll get their answer quicker instead of making a post and sitting there waiting for the answer to come to them. Thats why we tell them to search. The tools are there to ******* help you, so use it.

And its not "All about the search". We have new posts all the time because for one, sometimes when they Search it doesn't come up with specifics on what info theyre looking for. In this case, its a ******* no brainer. Click search, choose the Civic/CRX forum, and type in b18c. If you ******* do that you'll see theres tons of people talking about their GSR motors in their civic and CRX's so that means YES ITS POSSIBLE.

Its right there Stickied at the top of the forum in the Civic/CRX forum Rules/FAQ, if he didn't bother reading it then he'll have to deal with people not bothering to answer his question the way he wants us to.

" 6. if you plan on posting a new topic try the search first. it has more than likely been covered before. a link to the search function is below.
https://honda-tech.com/zerosearch. remember to search in the archived as well as recent topics. if the search doesn't work well for you, try to post a specific topic so we all here can answer your questions quickly and correctly. "

Yes it can be done. I don't think that this is a stupid question. I hate it when people on here try to bash people for trying to learn something new. I'm sure if you seach you may find some info, but the point of a forum is to share the knowledge you have & learn from others. Anyway here's a link that might help.http://www.norcalcrx.org/droppedcrxsi/

All I did was explain to you how ******* stupid you are and how to use the god damn Search button. Damn what H.S. did you go to, theyre obviously not doing their ******* job. And no I don't live with my parents you ****, I have an apartment close to my school you ******* moron. You're the one that needs to go back to school you retard, reading comprehension owns you.

honestly guys its not that big of a deal he said it was a dumb question probably so there for he doesnt need to be coached about it, and if he should have searched then you shouldnt have used his post to flame him and get another post to your total post counts so you can feel like a more superior honda-techer

i have searched this subject too! all of the answers are not there, dude.

i was driving my first NEW rex in 1985, and i don't know jack about swaps either! i can tell folks about OEM repairs and replacement, but want to do a swap soon!
plz don't be flamethrowers when us swap-noobs ask a question!

would YOU recommend that the man do this particular swap? is it a pain in the rear? do you have to take the engine out to replace the alternator or some other crazy thing like that?

and--what about passing emissions inspections? kids-- enlighten us!

The grammar's fine idiot.

Wow another idiot. I don't give a flying **** about my post count, wtf does that have to do with anything? And I didn't start flaming until everyone else came in and started making a big deal about it. All I said was "An easy click of the search button would have done well for you too." Then everyone else comes in and starts talking ****, including him, so that's where we're at now.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by sam385 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">i have searched this subject too! all of the answers are not there, dude.

His question wasn't if we'd recommend him doing the swap, his question was if it could be done in a CRX, and if he would have just searched for b18c in the Civic/CRX section, he would have seen that there's a million people that have that swap, so obviously it's possible to do it.

And people don't flame Noobs for asking just any question, they flame them for asking questions that have already been answered time and time again, or ones that are totally obvious if they took the damn effort to look for the answer.

Actually your questions probably aren't dumb since there aren't many people with 1st gen CRX's with swaps, so it'll be hard for you to search for the answer.

Dumb questions are ones that have totally obvious answers.

the 1st gen is RIP after my brother smacked it with his truck--he tried to bleed the brakes by himself.

i have my eye on an '89 CRXSI that has a blown drivetrain.

nice to know the B-18C option exists. tho would seem better to go w/ b-16A from my searching....we are not building a dragster, just a cool sleeper
