Default Low End Power

I got my B16 and it is fast. The car seems kinda of slow until VTEC kicks in around 5K, so I want to improve low end power, so any suggestions?

Get a B20. Low end and midrange rock. And by the time you reach topend and think its falling off, its time to shift! If your lookin for trq, B20 is the way to go. Or an LS/CR VTEC set up. A smaller snail that will spool @ low RPMs will show nice low end inprovements to lowend power. Good Luck!

turbocharger or a supercharger. It'll still probably feel sluggish compared to top end but it'll be a great improvement I'm sure.

I want NA, I love my motor, it has a lot of power, just want to spice up the low end power a little. Will like CTR cams, cam gears, pulleys, or intake manifold help?

u should do some internals if u want n/a. i read alot on how people with n/a swap internals. Like Golden Eagle pistons for example.

retard your ignition timing a little. more bottom = less top

Golden eagle pistons? Will they make as much power as a motec system exhaust?

Looking at your sig tells us that you have I/H/E plus other miscellaneous mods.

I think the only way to make more power in a N/A motor is on the top end.

Sure you can retard your timing for more low end power, but I think your next step to your motor is making power from 8K-10K rpm. Build your internals and valve train. I don't know how much money you have but you can also go all out with ITB setup.

Tuning the motor is also important to make the most power from your modifications.

I hope that helps.
