well i currently have stock shocks that are blown to hell with ground controls, i wanna know what are some opinions for a shock setup to go with this. i dont know too much in the suspension field and i tried to research but too many people go with springs. I gotta get my car running and this is just one of the stupid things stopping me.

There are endless discussions here about good shocks to go with performance springs, regardless if they are a GC sleeve system or a firxed perch lowering spring. If you are going with really high rates, you will need to make sure that you have a pretty aggressive damper. Be realistic about your budget and get the best you can afford as it will pay in the long run.
