Art, just joking about the PR. I was reading about the NOPI race this past weekend and read there about them disbanding... Jae

 

Saturn Motorsports was in negotiations with Charlie to sell the cars to him. Unfortunately, they did not see eye to eye on price and gave the cars back. As you can see from this last weekend, GM loaned Marty Ladwigs old Pontiac Sunfire to Charlie and Jason so they could remain racing this year. I think next year, we might see Jason Hunt in the seat of a GM backed ProFWD car, kinda like Gardella in HotRod. That's my guess.

But regardless of what happens, I think Jason should be in something! He is a great driver and Charlie has worked so hard to get themselves going. Best of luck to Charlie and Jason, whatever you do!!! You know I got your back

 

I thought that GM was just going to do factory support, like in Pro Stock, after this year. Try and get more people in the class by spreading the money and the technology around.

Thanks Vince, The press release will be out shortly, It's been a mad rush getting this car back together and running, of couse there is paper work involved in any deal and that didn't get done untill just before Friday night. Wow is all I can say, Thanks to so many people that offered up help! GM Racing stepped up and really made it all possible. We will get the bugs worked out and flying again very soon!

Talked to Julie today for about 40 mins and got the low down, but then Jason had to call and end my conversation..... hehehe just kidding!

Just good to hear of the news about to be released and that Jason, Charlie and brian with Dan of course can continue their passion for racing and keeping the fans happy.
