its a hybrid pc - it has a laptop processor, laptop hard drive, the rest is normal desktop parts (ram, microATX motherboard etc.. )

it has a new to the market, high-tech power supply made for car use. the pc hooks up like an amplifier, ignition, power, ground.

pc in car = endless possibilities. mp3, gps, video/dvd, engine managment, internet access etc... mount in trunk, comes with long usb/vga wires for screen + compact laptop-syle keyboard

it has a 7" vga touch screen display (not cheap s-video or rca, real computer display)
gps reciever + iguidance software
1.2ghz mobile AMD processor

it comes with mounting hardware for the display but i would custom fab it into a dash


your looking at the pc, 7" touchscreen display, a usb gps reciever and mini keyboard, a laptop dvd-drive converted to normal IDE interface for a normal motherboard, ready to mount in the case or where ever.

 

the pc itself hooks up like an amp, and it has a "intelligent" power supply that starts the pc 15sec after you start your car and shuts it off saftly 30sec after you shut your car off
