if i were to get a JDM ITR motor, what would you guys do to make it run in the low 13's [ALL MOTOR]... the motor is in great condition with low miles and has the following mods:
2000 JDM Type R Motor with LSD trans

well if your looking too run low 12's..there is no real reason too waste money on a itr longblock, since your going too have to tear the whole thing down and totally rebuild......

i'd say find a ls or gsr block..get it resleeved and bored to 85mm, pnp head, valvetrain, some nice cams, etc... whats your budget?

you could always just boost the itr motor, lol

Agreed, you will need to rebuild the motor, so better off purchasing a GSR and building it since you will need to increase bore and get the head pnp'd. Or going B20/Vtec.

I say boost it... for ***** and giggles... other than that.. turn it into an NA monster... Frankenstein (b20vtec) port and polish the head, Hondata tuning, built bottom block... etc.
