euro cluster whats the hazard light for?

Default euro cluster whats the hazard light for?

on the euro cluster there is a hazard looking light and no seatbelt light whats the light for? i plugged it in and it didnt do anything help me figure this out!!

I believe he's referring to the triangular hazard symbol next to the fuel light in the photo below (borrowed from austrian type-R's classified thread):



What the exact function of the light is, I do not know.

They come on when you turn on your hazards. Will only work properly with EDM/UKDM ITRs.

I have a the same signal on my volvo xc70 and it light up when the rear hatch is opens

All european cars got that. You dont got that in US?

It's on the console in USDM cars, beside the rear defogger, IIRC.

That's the E-Brake Light.

I read left for some reason. To the right is E-brake/brake malfunction (low fluid, etc).

US regulations require that the switch light up. European and UK regulations require that the signal show in the cluster.

You can tell it was standardised a long time ago.

An exlamation mark, a wheel, and two brake shoes pushed out.

Honda's just cheap. They still have models with drum brakes, so it's a cost-saving measure

well well ive got 2 us itr clusters 97 and 01 w/ 19k on it that euro one 270klms a ukdm 170 mpr and the jdm one i use to have a cdm one but was stolen workin on gettin another
