Default EF B-series axles -- recommendations?

I know that DA 1990-1993 Acura Integra axles are the ones we are supposed to use for a b-series engine in an EF. But, I personally bought new CV boots for my 91 CRX HF with a b16a mated to a YS1 tranny, and installed the grease and new boots on the axles that came with the swap. I don't think I screwed anything up, and it was done only a few months ago. But, there is an extremely annoying clicking sound from what I believe to be the driver's side axle when I turn sharply. I think that now there may even be a clunking sound when I accelerate spiritedly.
So, what axles have worked out well for any of you EF B-series owners? (DriveShaft Shop, AutoZone, Gator, Raxles, OEM ..... ) I don't want to spend $500 on axles, but I realize that "You get what you pay for" is a reasonable motto.
Thanks in advance.

the bearings in that axle is gone.. that is what that noise is.... i would just replace it the whole assembly if i was you... i just replace my da tegs axles... $60+40 core deposit for each side... but the totally i really spent after everything was done was like $125... this is from autozone..
i heard you can use 90-93 DA teg axles & 87-89 axles for the B-series swap in an EF.... HTH

o i forgot to say its lifetime warranty on those new remanufactured axles that i got from autozone... so if anything happens to those axles as long as i have my car and have the receipt i can get them exchanged....

I need some new axles too. I'm going to go with the autozone's mainly because of the lifetime warranty and price. They don't seem too hard to change yourself either.

>does the one with HONDA have warranty on them?

>i've changed axles a few times now.. all i can say if you dont have the right tools with you it will be a bitch just to replace your axles... impact gun is a must... PB catalyst bolt penetrator highly recommended(its the best one i've used all the time).. a long breaker bar USA made and be wise to spend the extra bucks on it to get the lifetime warranty also (dont get taiwan .... i broke like 3 breaker taiwan made with this job), also if you axle gets stuck in the hub (get a FWD axle remover tool (i got a free loaner tool from autozone... )

I bought 89 teg axels and slapped on the inner cv joint from 93 teg. Got it to correct length for B series...

The Honda parts won't have a warranty on them.

Pep Boys has a lifetime warranty on CV axles also.

As a matter of fact, I've personally warrantied out a couple of sets of axles to some local kid who keeps blowing his up in his 400hp CRX. He's an idiot!
