Just wanted to be all official and such and say hello. New to the forum, I'm a business manager at a Honda store in Tallahassee, FL. I have worked for Honda 3 years now and I'm about to purchase a GPW s2k. Thought I'd get up and running here before the car came in. Anyhow, initial plans are to go almost exclusively Mugen on the car (Volk/Advan wheels will be one exception). Anyway, again saying hey and I look forward to talking with you all, drop me a line if you have any questions or comments, or...well....whatever seeya round...

As far as OEM parts, I only get about a 20% discount from retail myself...so add to that shipping, and I get diddly. Wouldn't mind helping but I wouldn't be much help...lol As far as all Mugen...:

1.) No one really does it ....(yes I know the reasons..hehe)
2.) It's classic Honda tuning
3.) Have you seen that hood....!!!
4.) Umm....carbon fibre hood is nice too....
5.) Cause Genuine mugen Stickers make you fassstrrrr...... =P

I'm still very open to sugestions in that the car isn't even here yet....be glad to know what everyone feels about every aspect, from the intake (which I love btw) to the exhaust, damper system, just let me know..I had a '02 RSX-S and I do my research heavily before I drop the money...and as a finance person I'm typically a hard-nose with prices, but I'll be the first to pay a premium if I believe in the product....anyhow, lemme know what ya think and I'll be here on most every day during work.....fear it...=P

he is the guy that goes over the paper work and gets your loan bought by a financial institution.

business manager is a more customer friendly term than finance manager.

it is not connected to parts at all.

but he probably makes 12k per month, so he is one of the few who can afford all the mugen goodies.

 

1.) I wouldnt say "No One", ive seen tons of Mugen outfitted S2000's.
2.) Classic? Thats a new one...
3.) Yup, not a big fan.
4.) I guess, until you have an accident and insurance tells you to cram it.

I hear that I was needed for a classic pic whoring! Let me please oblige....



1. There are a few...definitely not many.
2. Actually it's not a 'new' one, that's why it's classic.
3. Luder likes it...do it.
4. Tell the insurance you want actual value (keep copy of receipts and notify agent. If agent instructs you to, then purchase extra riders for a few extra dollars of coverage every 6 months). If you wreck, you get a check cut for actual amount to replace the hood...so in the Mugen case, it appreciates in value...and it really has).
5. Mugen stickers do make you faster....it tells everyone what you got, and puts a bit of intimidation in their hearts and soul. They unknowingly react passively when they see you and you're a bit faster. Proven fact!
