Not too much, but I could use a part or two.

need suspension, motor, tranny and interior= stupid amount of money and in the end it will still be a salvage title

Would make a good start for a race car ... send it straight to the cage builder.

I don't understand why people put so much money in a salvage title, when they could have in fact just bought a legit one for much cheaper
at the prices they are going for now, its pretty dumb not to, unless you have the time and resources to find the other parts

If your going to build as a race car buy it for no more than 1500 if not I wouldn't rebuild it, as someone said it's not worth the investment.

depending on the state. like NC, a theft recovery is still a clean title

no salvage or anything.

Wow, they were kind enough to leave both airbags and the dash... the body looks super straight too.

600-700, not too much more, put one seat in it, a nice suspension and the motor and call it a day, i wouldent waste the money turning it back into a factory stock car,

if i already had a parts car for it and all i needed was to transfer parts, i'd do it....that shell looks solid and accident free. i'd pay a G for the shell, maybe a few bucks more if the majority of the paint is good. the doors, all glass and airbags/dash are still intact...and that is a huge difference over just a bare shell.

if you spent 5 grand on it by the time your done, still worth it even if salvage.

this does bring up the question of value...if you think about it, with all the type-rs getting stolen today, i would be freaking out excited if i found a shell like this sitting in a barn 20 years from now when the prices for our cars reflect the few that are left.

if you can do the work yourself (motor, paint and body panels) then it'd be worth it. I personally would only pay like 700 bucks for that

(After I just threw up.) I could do the work myself and would only pay 1000 for that.

why does a track car need a sunroof

as people said before, it isnt worth it to rebuild this back to factory make

I have yet to see this kid NOT lowball on something in this forum. Meh,

But this is the only reason I'd get it because like others have said it will always be a salvage title. Its a great shell for a race car though.

1000, that shell is in real good condition, all glass etc, even looks like the damn paint is all good on it, if it was up to me id already own it, $1000 for the car, $4500 for the jdm itr swap, $600 for the interior parts id NEED, suspension $400, and taillights/headlights/front bumper $300. oo lets not forget the wing $150, the most important part LoL Around $6.8-7k Niiiiiice.
