Default Info/Pics needed for 5th GEN NRG Torque dampener

Hi guys

I have recently purchased a NRG torque dampener in aid to prevent mty engine mount bushes from tearing when I eventually install my turbo.

But I have no idea how the hell it mounts up!! the seller here on honda-tech was no help, and there is nothing on NRG's website.

So can anyone plz post up sum pics or help me out with some form of install instructions???

Thanks

they dampen the twisting force(tourque) of ur engine...dont know what power levels u gotta be at to really need one though...i only seem them on some pretty high profiule cars, such as the signal 350z

Well I will be installing a turbo kit shortly, and in the aim of preserving the engine mounts, the dampener helps out a lot.

I have heard of a few accord's tearing the rubber inserts in the mounts after a period of time, so I am trying to avoid a shagged out mount.

I should be boostn with max 10-12 psi with hopefully around 160-180 KW ATW which will be like a 80% increase....

It's very easy to install. One of the brackets bolts on to the left engine mount and the other bracket bolts on to one of the bolt that mounts your left upper control arm. and connect the 2 ends of the engine damper then your done.

Here is a few pics of it installed

imo just get a front and rear insert and you should be fine.

Here's the Accord damper mounted on a Prelude, but it's the same deal. I think I had to reverse one of the flanges, though...

I have the energy suspension motor inserts also, but from the turbo accords that I have heard they have sheared the actual mount itself also!!!!!

Thanks heaps for these pics guys! I will have another look at it and try and nut it out.

The pic that NRG give you is so god damn pathetic! the product looks great and is well made, just let down by shitty instructions

They're pictures for the installation of the Oil Catch tank was also horrible, where did you find this product ? I didn't see one on Ebay and too lazy to look up a site for the company, afraid it won't even be in english considering half of my instruction was mispelled and smudged lol.

yeah the install instrcutions for the NRG products are somewhat to be desired.....

Cant complain about the product itself though!

I bought it off Rukawone from the misc and appearance traders section here on HT.

He seems like a genuine guy, with quick shipping.
