Stereo isn't working
This weekend I removed my entire interior so that I could install B-Quite throughout my car (97 integra LS). After I put everything back in, I noticed that my stereo wasn't working.
I get power to it except there is no sound at all. The only thing that I disconnected were the wires connected to my amp (it is mounted on the back of my passenger seat) and I am certain that I hooked everything back up how it was.
My knowledge of wiring and car audio systems is pretty limited, so I have no idea where to start in troubleshooting this.
Thanks for the help.

what kind of amp do you have? 4 channel or 2 channel? what is the amp hooked up to? a sub or your interior speakers....try and see if the amp turns on still and see if you hooked up the rca's to the input of the amp instead of the output? just suggestions.
I believe its hooked up to my sub and interior speakers, so i guess that would make it a 4 channel? Im pretty sure the RCA's are connected correctly.
How would I verify that the amp is getting power? The EQ gets power and I can turn the sub and amp on/off (obviously with no effect).

well there's different ways of checking...see if there's a small LED light on the amp, if you have one see if it lights up when you turn on your radio, secondly you can get a multimeter or test light and check to see if you are getting 12v to your amp from your battery as well as from the radio (remote turn-on wire). if no power check the wiring to radio and the fuse under the hood.

Thats entirely possible. So the RCA outputs could have been fried just by touching, even though the stereo wasn't powered on?
If thats the case, then I'll have to completely replace the RCA cables?

If the HU was not turned on then the problem is not the RCA outputs, but if you bib not remove the fuse at the batt. for the amp power wire, then I would check that fuse, or as vicn77 said use a multimeter and check and make sure you have power on the main power lead into the amp, and power on the turn on lead into the amp, [when the HU is on] also make sure you have a good ground for the amp.
