hey guys whats up my 1992 honda accord is throwing a code 12 and it has to deal with the egr lift sensor anyone have any idea how i can correct this, thanks

 

you need to check the lift sensor on the egr valve,also the egr solonoid in the control box will cause that code too

 

where would to control box be located, i wana clean the egr just incase there might be carbon build up causing it to not open properly maybe its just and electrical connection problem lets hope its that, plus am kinda lazy to look at it too, am starting to get serious with it now cuz a the fact i belive my car is eating up my gas

Just follow the vacuum line from the egr valve.

The problem causing code 12 isn't very likely to cause a problem with fuel milage.

 

i found it i realized that, anyways ama check it out do sometest and see what happens, anyways thanks alot, if anymore tips let me know thanks
