GSR into a CRX info

well my cousin has a 90 CRX and wanted to know if he could drop in a GSR motor in it. he said some guy told him the tranny wouldnt fit. so can anyone confirm this information for me. thanks in advanced.

Also, plan on buying an sir style hood needed for proper engine clearance. VIS makes one for the usdm chassis.

Hood

There are a few options here. You can get a sir front end conversion, sir style hood for usdm front ends, or just cut your stock one. Thats what I did, I cut 2 "ribs" out of the hood on the driver side, above the valve cover.
