Default dcrh install on an rsx S

How was the install for the dcrh?? i just picked one up yesterday and can't wait to install it. I need an advice. One thing i know is that esmm is a must with dcrh to prevent it from hitting anything. Do i need any wirings, gaskets??? And does it bolt right on??? I have have a hks hi power exhaust i wonder if it would fit perfectly??

HELP NEEDED!!

The install is pretty straight forward. Just bolts right on. As far as the ESMM (Energy Suspension Motor Mounts) go, those are a pain in the buttcrack to install. However, you may need a Casper's Electronics o2 Sim. This is for the illuminating CEL that is bound to come on after installing the race header. If you don't get the o2 sim, then your car will lean quite a bit, causing you to drive in a dangerous state. I hope that helps, if any at all.

get the 02sim, that's required.

As far as the ESMM goes, that's not required but so highly recommended that it should be required. I'm guessing either you got a ceramic. If you got SS then it's stronger, but still not as stong as the stock because stock is 2 pieces and can move around. If you launch and get mad wheel hop, you're going to crack your rh. Do the esmm, it's a pain in the *** but better safe than running into mad problems later. The header install itself is just a straight bolt on, nothing too complicated. We just did two last wednesday.

i installed my header at my work on the lift it was simple.... I also installed my inserts. But if you get the inserts put them in before the RH because its in the way mine were a pain in the *** because the rh was in the way i had to do way more work...

I got you buddy. I couldn't answer because this bullshit trial account crap.. 5 posts a day. I'll put in as much info as I can to save posting..

You can get the Casper's Electronic o2 Sim at this website.
http://rsxmotorsports.com/caelo2sim.html or
https://www.casperselectronics..._Code=

Here's the full definition:
Use this SIM when installing a high-flow or high-efficiency cat in your Acura. Using the SIM will keep the SES light from illuminating. When the light is on, your fueling is corrupted, causing a rich condition. When the SIM is used, the rich condition goes away, setting the fueling to proper EPA standards.

Yes, this will stop your car from running lean. It will prevent the CEL from coming on. When the CEL comes on, your car is running lean, which may be deadly to your motor if you push it too hard. The good thing is that the RSX platform comes a little more rich at its stock state. But definitely get the o2 Sim to prevent detonation of the engine or running lean. Basically what I said above.

Here is an installation guide of the o2 Sim for you here:

Yes, the DC Sports Race Header will bolt onto your HKS Catback. Just be aware that this exhaust comes with a tilt. Therefore, there will be burn marks on your rear bumper from the excessive heat. You can prevent this by adding a heat shield between the exhaust and the rear lip. Here is a link about the HKS exhaust system and issues:

This guy wants the same setup as you; race header and HKS exhaust system. Check this link out.

You should try the spark plug non fouler trick. It will only cost you 4 bucks.

DCRH = DC Sports Race Header

It makes your car faster. It is for off road (illegal) only but nobody really cares because all they want is POWER!! It rids of the catalytic converter. It's a great power adder and a must for the car enthusiast searching for power.

yeah instead of the O2 sim, I used the 19mm spark plug non fouler. Worked great, no wiring necessary, only cost 4$, and best of all no CEL.

just go to auto zone, buy the 19mm, make the whole large enough so the o2 sensor will fit. I used both of them in one (screwed one into the other) worked great.
