Default B18C1 dyno today... not too impressed

NOOB's 2nd post

Dynoed my gsr in my 95 civic coupe and was expecting a little more. Just bolt ons now for baseline run (DC 4-1 stainsteel header, high flow cat, Apexi N1 catback, short ram used on dyno) 145.25hp and 112.78tq 95.87 F at sea level. Its not tuned yet, I wanted to run it once to see where I was at before I do ls crank, rods for longer stroke and oversized 81.5 B16 pistons for +compression also tune using chrome,... but what do you guys think about those numbers? I expected about 155-160hp and about 118tq so Im a little dissapointed.

If it's not tuned with anything, 145whp with those mods is rather typical on a baseline run.

stock gsr ecu right now, I guess your right. I have another ecu, my tuner mmuller is waiting on chips for that, my laptop is ready. Im doing compression and some tests tomorrow just to check so Ill see what happens. I know it will look much better tuned correctly. I know I need input shaft bearings but Im going to get the whole bearing kit.

Well after doing leakdown and compression yesterday... I find those numbers could be better if I wasnt losing 20% in #1 due to rings, and bad intake valves apparently. On top of that, my input shaft bearings are going. All early stages of problems, looks like my first rebuild... a dream come true... top end, bottom end, and you guessed it, the tranny. Sending the head to Cali, anyone have GOOD parts? Looking for ls crank, ls rods, b16 pistons. Thanks everyone
