QUESTION OF THE YEAR?!?! MY BACK LIGHTS WON"T TURN OFF!!!
I pushed the unlock key on my remote and when my headlights flashed they got stuck I guess and won't turn the **** off. I drive a 94 Accord LX... I turned all the switches pushed everthing possible..So all I could do is take out my fuse #19. poop this sucks...is this a problem b/c my car alarm or can it be some other electrical thing..b/c it is hot as a monkey over here and i could see how electric stuff can go to crap..... HELP ME IF YOU CAN...THX
It is a "latched" alarm brain or a stuck relay, to delatch, disconnect the neg. (-) batt. term. wait 1 min. then reconnect, if that does not reboot the alarm CPU, then it is a stuck relay.
What kind of alarm is it?

man i have no clue what type of car alarm system it is.. My brother did all that **** and he is gone now......well..anyways I unplugged the neg (-) for a mintute and that didn't work...so i guess it is a stuck relay... i need to look that **** up in that damn chiltons manual...UNLESS you guys know kinda where or which one it is ahahaha...HOLLA
If it is an aftermarket alarm, the relay will be in the alarm brain itself, [it may be an off board one controlled by the brain] You will have to find the alarm brain under the dash and unplug it, if the lights go out, the relay was inside the brain, or the control for the off board relay was the problem, if the lights stay on, then it has to be an off board relay and you will have to find it, and replace it.
