I was at the track yesterday and after a run i noticed my gas pedal would depress half way and not rev the engine up at all... It still reaches full throttle but it wont rev at all until at least half way down... how to fix it?

 

maybe your throttle cable is loose. pop the hood and check the tension.

Did you check where it was connected to the gas pedal itself?

 

yes... its not broken...

Is it loose at all? It needs to be in there firm for it to work correctly.

 

Hmm it is loose.... and there is a bracket there and i was wanderin if it just needed a little tightening...

Is your car an automatic, or a manual?

 

its a gsr... i thought they only came in standard?

its obviousl loose if u step on it and doesnt go anywhere doublecheck the tightener on both the pedal and tb
