Default OBD2B Questions

The cone is a 2000 ITR with its original chassis wiring, thus making it OBD2B. I have a GSR motor without a wiring harness. I have leads on both a 1996 GSR wiring harness and a 1999 GSR wiring harness. I looked at the service manual thoroughly and found the only difference to be pin 7 on connector C305. It's WHT/GRN instead of BLU. Would I be ok if I got either harness? Correct me if I'm wrong, too, but OBD2 was implemented in 1996, right? Thanks!

As far as I've seen, the only difference between an OBD2 GSR harness and OBD2 ITR harness is that the GSR will have an additional plug for the secondary butterflies on the IM.

And yes, OBD2 began in '96, and the plugs are the same between OBD2a and OBD2b.
