i'm thinking about getting a set of used ohlins shocks with bestex springs. these are not the pcv versions. they come with stock mounting hats and multiple spring perches, so basically they're the lower priced line. they have ct7 - s0200-50 written on them. any feedback on this suspension will be most appreciated. i searched but i need more info
Not sure of that particular model, but Ohlins is good ****. As long as they're in good shape, it's most likely a good deal. What are the spring rates?
I had that same setup on my DA... mine was with kg/mm dual rate springs.
I have also used a lower end TEIN setup before this one and am currently using APEXi World Sport N1 dampers on my EF Ohlins was by far my favourite.
Right now if I could find a similarly priced set of used Ohlins I would definitely jump on it.
Only problem I had was the rear shocks needed to be pressurised again.... cost me 90$ Canadian to do, and never had any other problems with them.
I would sy go for it, and I doubt you will regret it.
Ohlins is huge in competitive motorsports from road racing to rally to motorcycle/quad racing.
