Default H23 ECU for Sohc F22

Has anyone used a h23 ecu on thier sohc? If so, how is it or was it?

My friend had a sohc in his civic then he used a gs ecu and it ran good, just wondering.

it would run poorly and throw a check engine light for the lack of a knock sensor.

and i very much doubt that your buddy ran that much better with the p72 unless it was chipped...

yeah there was a check light on, but it ran good and no it wasn't chipped.

chances are the check engine light indicated that the knock sensor was not working which means timing was retarded meaning less power.
