NOS question
I am planning on running a conservative Nitrous Oxide Setup.
I have replaced my old fuel filter and done some other things just for good measure (so i decrease the risk of blowing my motor).
I am running cheapy bosch platinum spark plugs.
Put simply:
I know you arent supposed to run platinum plugs on a turbo setup. But does it matter on a NOS setup?
Anything else i should check before i do this?
thanks.

yeah one degree colder plugs any kind will work. make sure your running rich so you get enough fuel for . are u running a dry or wet shot? dont spray with those plugs in there u dont want pre ignition or else you engine will EFF itself haha how is your system set up any safty switches do u have a wide open throttle switch? make sure you run the highiest pump gass octan u can. do u have a window switch? u cant spray under 3k, and you can decide to spray 1k before redline . is your nozzle 2 to 3 inches away from the throttle body? do u have a purge? let me out so i can help u out. im sprayin my d right now too. good luck
Its a Nitrous works setup. I only intend to spray at about 3k+. The nozzle is about one inch from the TB drilled into my CAI. Its a wet setup. I'd be running sunoco 94. Should I consider running race gas for safetys sake? Yes i have a purge valve.
sounds like you got everything. you need another safe thing to have is a window switch if you dont know what it is it takes place of pressing a botton (i think thats what your using) and you put rpm pill in it and it turns on and off things at certain rpms always start at 3 and end 200 rpms before not 2,000 only 200 works a lot better then a botton and it will save you if you miss shift and you can focus on your driving. your gas sounds fine you wont need to put any octan booster in it just make sure you get one degree colder plugs from stock. and the way you can check your plugs when u run the nitrous is a wet black means your running to rich and you can take down the fuel shot. golden brown means its perfect. and a white means your not running enough fuel, good luck and make sure when u use it your racing someone for like 20 so u can fill your bottle
have fun
