I'd try the 0 shot.

Seriously dude, is it a dual point fuel-injected D15 engine? Why bother?

Do you have the DX, or STD model? Easiest way to tell is if you have a rear wiper it's a DX, with about 90hp. If you have no rear wiper then you have the STD model, which has a whopping 70hp.

Either engine won't last long on your basic dry set-up, especially depending on the mileage.

Do you have a back-up engine ready?

I'm not being a smart-*** - I'm being 100% serious. The dual-point injected D15 is just not worth modifying. They'll last forever stock, but once you start adding nitrous to them I wish you good luck.

Seeing that you have a 91 Civic, you might have better luck asking this question here: CRX / EF Civic https://honda-tech.com/zeroforum?id=3

Why would you need NOS on a D15 anyway ?

Wow, go back to your AOL chatroom If you can't be helpful, then get the **** out. If you have something worth contributing, then atleast make sure that it is not unreadable.

Anyways, to the thread starter: these guys are right, the stock motor isn't really worth the effort. Still, if you want to mod your motor, I'd start out with a few other things, first:

MPFI swap would be first on my list, its not that difficult to do, and there is lots of info on this. If you swap motors down the road, this is also necessary.

Also, going 45 mph in first gear isn't good. Consider an SI tranny swap, as well.

I believe a mini-me is possible with the D15, and if you decided to spray, you could, but don't expect the motor to last long. I'd consider swapping to another SOHC motor, and spraying. Or better yet, forced induction.

Good luck
