Today at Kennedale, while we were putting slicks on the car and getting set up, one of the workers pull up in the golf cart in the pits and starts to interrogate us about the car.
First he asked if it was tagged and insured, sure it was, I wouldn't have drove it up there if it wasn't, then he starts to think about it, and asks if the car has a muffler. No, I don't have a muffler, haven't ever had one, haven't never been asked to have one at Kennedale. We've been going there since 2001. So then he tells us we can only make one pass, then he says two passes at the most.
I'm pissed off because I called one of my friends at the track later on and they're running trailered race cars in the quick eight, both of them imports. They didn't have mufflers, why did they get to run? Why did we have to get singled out?
So no more Kennedale for any of the MACHINE members. It's been a fun 4 years, goodbye.

It is a fact of life that all dallas tracks hate imports. If you think kennedale is bad try going up to sanger (denton) they are really bad. I personally have never had any problems at kennedale, but it is kind of messed up that they did that.

As of lately we've been going to Sanger more often, they've never said anything to us up there. They even held an import event earlier this year, nobody attended except for us. Denton Dragway's gonna be our track to go to from now on.

 

We were there tonight. Like you said, lots of loud *** cars.

I have been going there for years, and to me, it is way better now that it used to be. Not sure why you got singled out.

 

Damn Vinay that sucks. Hatin on the Machine . I definitly think denton is cooler, at least they are to us. What is up with Ennis this year??? Hasn't been open for the past 2 months . They need to open up NOW.

word.....when i was still in texas, i thought Denton was the best 1/8mile track in the area.

 

i was at kennedale last night and i havent been in awhile and it didnt feel the same
ive been running my car there for over six years there and idunno i just didnt like it i need to find a new track that still does heads up i ****** hate time trials

 

Damn that sucks. We get **** when we go too but I try to ignore them. But its never the people that work there. That is strange. I would talk to Jokerluv and maybe see if he can see what happened.

 

Denton has really improved this year over the past years...Not much in the track conditions but they don't seem to be against imports like they were before...Kennadale on the other hand is money hungry and all they care about is getting the lanes packed with bracket racers...Guess after this Denton is the only place we'll be racing...and ennis

are there any other 1/4 mile tracks in dfw besides tx motorplex in ennis

Nope..

But other than the staff there Kennadale is a pretty good track for testing. I actually like the track..

 

Denton won't even let a fwd car on slicks go through the f***ing water box to do a burn out. I had to go up to the tower and freak out on the manager so that I could do a proper burn out. I have never had a problem at kennedale, but I have had problems at denton. But to each his own I guess certian people have better luck some places than others. Plus kennedale preps their track much better than denton.
