Default Cali drivers....... wats ur setup?

does anyone in cali drive with a turbo or engine swap setup? if so how do u get it by smog check? (i was deciding wether to get the turbo or the swap for my 6th gen accord.) *damit* i hope i dun get flamed........ i hope this is an okay question...... thnx honda-tech.com community. great site by the way (hella helpful)

maybe if u look artound hard enough u'll find a carb approved turbo kit?? and i dunt see why a H22 wuidnt pass smog regulations -_-a...i cud understand a B20

Its not that it won't, its that california doesn't see the reason for a swapped motor so they will fail you unless you get an exempt sticker or another sticker (forgot what its called). California is very strict on their inspections portion (unless you have a hook up).

I haven't had to deal with it first hand I am just giving input based off of what others on this board have said.
