89 teg-the sway bar is rubbing against the driveshaft!!!

89 teg-the sway bar is rubbing against the driveshaft!!!
my 89 integra (winter car to save my 99 gsr) the sway bar disconnected from the mounts but is still on the subframe. can i just sawzall it off is this a huge problem?there is a ton of rust on the assembly.
