Need fuel line for MPFI swap - dealer only item??
Well I hooked up my DX fuel line (with the banjo fitting) to the end of the Si fuel rail, and fuel was pouring out. So I need an Si fuel line with fittings, but is this a dealer only item, or does Autozone and similar stores carry it? Any idea on the price?
Thanks for the help, this is all I need and (hopefully) my mpfi swap will be working

buy one off jdmef9er b4 the junk yard... unless u need it asap. if he can't help ya i have on as well. the dealer is going to bend you over. you also need crush washers on either side of the fitting on the rail or the thing will ****, you can get those at your local hardware store.
Is this normal to have to buy another fuel line, because in any of the mpfi guides I've read, none of them mention having to get the Si one. Do you all think that new crush washer on my DX line will work? I just used the old ones.

There's really no way to pinpoint the leak, its coming out everywhere. All I did is turn the key one click and fuel was squirting everywhere, so I shut it off.
I looked at a pic of the Si fuel line I need, and it looks the same, unless the fitting is different on the inside. I think I will pick up some new crush washers tomorrow and hope that works. I don't want to spend extra money if I don't have to.

You retained the crush washers that go on either side of the fitting, right? Thats all I can think of unless there is something wrong with the fuel rail...
I cant speak for the a6 fuel rail, but the dx fuel line will go onto the y8 without a problem. But yeah, what everyone else said, you need two crush washers.
I pulled the DX fuel line off today so I could take the washers to the store with me to get the right size, and I see that one side has two washers on it, the other side had none. So big
on me. Thanks for the suggestions.
