steering wheel shaking

Default steeling wheel shaking

i have a 98 civic auto.whenever im at a light or slow speed,the steeling wheel shake pretty hard.anyone know what is the cause??thanks

Possibly broken motor mounts...

Sounds like the same thing that happened to me.. It shakes sometimes when your just sitting there and at low speeds when your slowing down.

It may be worn out rotors, my civic did this when i step on the brakes. Also check your mounts.

well all my rotors is new put them in last month.idle is ok is not like the car is choking or anything.so i guess is my motor mount cause it shakes harder on real hot days.so how many mount is in the bay any tips to make life easier??

check the mount that is on the back of the motor.

If it's shaking when you're stopped, it's probably your motor mounts.

If it's shaking when you're driving and gets worse when you're braking, your rotors are warped and/or your wheels aren't balanced. Well, probably.
