I jsut bought this 90 teggie.
the guy who previously owned wanted to do an LS-VTEC converstion on it so he took everything apart, but he ended up getting screwed so the car got left in the middle.
Its an auto, ls.

Basically those dum assess took everything apart they could get their hands on, all of the easy stuff is taken out apart. like head lights, radiator, hoses. power steering. etc


I bought the car from the guy.

I'm trying to get the car started, i hocked up everthing, but the dam distrubutor won't fit. i matched and lined the distributor and than screwed it up. then tried to start up the car, the engine turns but won't start, than i noticed that when i try to crank up the car the whole distributor wobles.

can someone help me in getting the distributor on propperly, so it won't woble when i try to start the car. I've tried a lot taking it out and putting it back on, matching it wont the crank.

I don't wanna take it to the macanic for such a simple thing.
plus i have to get it towed cuz i won't start.
I know the car runs, because it ran just fine before they decided to do their lill stupid project.

how do u mean wobbles...is it fully on? flush with the head? it only goes on one way to the intake cam. If you cant get it to work right, if you have a buddy or another distributor to just try out then do that just to be sure.
