Default front passenger ball joint on gsr

can somebody plz explain to me how the hell u get that arm off the ball joint.. ive tried ******* everything and that bitch will not come off.. im getting upset bc i need to get the axle out and i cant pop off that arm.. ive tried jacking up the rotor and hitting it with hammer to make it fall and everything and its getting very annoying and i need my car for daily purposes.. can anybody show me a how to with pics or something plz.. im in the process of working on it right now and this is a huge stall

jack it up by the rotor. stick a craftsman 1/2" ratchet in between the knuckle, and the lower arm. with the assembly jacked up, it will just barely fit. lower the jack, if it doesn't immediately break free, kick it down with your foot. it should pop right out.

don't forget to soak it down with some pb blaster, too.

i just beat the crap out of it with a brass mallet, was a pain in the ***, but eventually worked. if that didnt work, i was gonna go up to the store and get one of those ball joint separator tools and try that.

yea i tried the ratchet thing and it did pop right off with a about 2 kicks and it was quite easy i gotta say.. thx man u saved my day
