Default What Struts and Springs for a 1994 4 Door Civic?

Hey guys,

Posting up for a friend... He has a 1994 4 door civic and he wants to get struts and springs to lower his ride no more than 2inch. He wants a comfortable ride for daily driving.

Thanks,
Tony

Is he just looking for a drop, or for performance? He'll need aftermarket struts as well, if he wants a good ride.

I like H&R/Neuspeed race springs, good drop. Very bouncy on strock struts though :\

Get coilovers and be done with it. No need to worry about how low a spring will go with coilovers.

BTW, there is countless threads about suspension, plus, we have a Suspension forum now.

My friend tells me now he wants to just deal with it and get struts while he is at it.

Any recommendations? IM thinking kgb agx with h&r. He doesnt want to lower more than 2 inchs and wants a comfortable ride for daily driving.

Thanks for all the input,
Tony Yeung

A buddy of mine has some suspension tech. springs that lowered his car 2.3" in the front and 2.0" in the rear. Looks good, and the ride is close to stock even with blown struts. Nopi.com has them for $90. I'm actually going to buy those for my 4 door. He has his on a 95 coupe.
