Does any company make these? I am kinda looking for a CRX version of the CTR headlights. Anyone one have them? I was thinking you could "smoke" the lens of a projector headlamps. Maybe not. Just let me post any info or insight on the subject.

...never seen em...if you wanna separate the lens of a brand new projector, go for it...should work

Let us know how it turns out (pictures would be nice) because I've been wanting to do the same..though I'm not good at this kind of stuff.

 

dont smoke the lenses, pull em apart and paint the area around the lights (the chrome part) black....then they'll be similar to the CTR lights....

Don't do that man, you want to make tham look like a JDM light that doesn't exist? What's the purpose? That's kind of disrespectful to the whole JDM thing IMO. Not that i'm really all that concerned, but IMO, that's gay. I'd laugh at you.

 

I was thinking bout this also, i tried pulling apart some old cracked ones i had but by the time i figured out how to pull em apart the whole housing was cracked to hell but if you do that youd have to also do the corners man or itll look weird, would be interesting to see em though, post a pic if you do it.

my friend did this in his 88 hatch and it looks badass, he did the clear corners the same way, not quite as bright at night but they still work and look good in the daytime.

 

got any pics? ill do it to mine when i get teh jdm front end next month for sure
