cel 45 is it cuz my 2nd o2 isnt hooked up? HELP
im sorry ive read thru 3 pages on the search engine and dont want to read thru all 8 pages.
can any 1 tell me if not havng the seconday o2 in the hole will cause a cel 45. running too rich or lean? the 2nd o2 is plugged in, but its just not in the piping.

The secondary doesnt control the lean or rich factor, that would be the primary O2 in the head pipe, the secondary is looking if the cat. is doing its cleaning up of the air job, and not having it in with throw a low catalist code, or at least thats what mine is doing.

yea the mil eliminator is the only thing that has worked for me as well, the lil boxed ones with the blinky light dont work for **** work for 5 days and the cel is back and ive tried about 5 and one mil and it was gone, and yea that would be pretty gay to have a cel on a boost'd dumped *** coupe, your **** is hot!!

wow, I got mine from o2simulator.com. it's worked now for over a year.
and the only way I've gotten rid of cel 45 is to reset the ecu and wait for it to come back. the only other way that I've found out is to get your **** tuned. I hate that damn cel 45. not much info on it here, that I've found. I already did everything that has been suggested in the threads I found and I still get it.

He thought you were talking about getting rid of the light for everything, not just eliminating the light for the secondary O2.
And a running too rich/too lean code is not caused by your secondary O2. It is caused by either a dead primary O2 or your are running too rich or too lean. Simple as that.
