yes they will fit fine as long as you have a b in there, you might have to bang off the abs rings, not sure if it would hit anywhere but i dont think so

yeah I have a b18a in there. There's a gap in between the axle and the intermediate shaft. The axle doesn't sit flush against intermediate shaft. Is that suppose to be like that?

I have a picture I just can't upload it. I can email it to someone and they can post it up for me thanks

Are you using the right axle? The one that going into the intermediate shaft is splined from the tip to the base, the side that goes into the tranny is splined to about half way down.

I'll have to check that out, but I'm pretty sure that I have the right axles on the right side. I had them make the boxes when I bought them.

Well it turns out that the smart guys at auto zone gave me two passenger side axles. Well I returned the one and they tried to charge me. Then I'm like I just wanted an even exchange. So he credits another axle on my card. Then he's like just grab your axle and don't forget your intermediate shaft. We'll it turns out that they credited me for $140 and gave me an axle for free. Just had to share that. Thanks for the help everyone.

the driver side axle fits either side, the passenger side(tranny side) only fits in the tranny its only splined 1/2 way if you try to put in intermediate shaft it doesnt go in all the way, its way obvious

Yeah when he brought out the new right axle I was like see that's why my axle would only go have way into the intermediate shaft. Gotta love auto zone They're only human.

OK, sorry if this is a thread-jack, but it is a question about intermediate shafts and axles:

if i can get some DSS axles for EG's, how can i get them to work right on my EF with b16? do i need the EG/DC intermediate shaft, or will the DA one i have already work?

It's not thread jacking because my question was answered. I'm not sure what DSS axles are. Guessing they are a company. But my understanding is that all b-series axles work for that year motor and intermediate shaft. ex. I have a 92 ls motor with 92 ls axles with a 92 gsr intermediate shaft.

I don't think the axles will be plug and play seeing how the eg axles are d-series (someone can correct me) and of course your using a b-series motor.

As far as the intermediate shaft working they will work with the b-series axles. Not the d ones.
