ok since i changed my tranny out i dont know if i had made a wire near the distributor loose or what but if i touch the wires in teh harness leading to teh dizzy my car's rpm will go up and down and shut off. nothing looks loose or cut but something is shorted out i know that because teh check engine light comes on and you can hear a buzzing sound the ecu light blinks like crazy/while driving teh car it will just sputter and then die out sometimes it wont keep a constant rpm

 

take it all apart and really look at it. the pin in the plug might not be seated right?

 

i noticed its when i move the harness around with the wire loom my check engine liht comes on and thast when my car runs crappy but dont see any loose wiring

 

well something is loose, take it apart and look closer

 

Is your thermostat housing ground secure?
