Default CRX gauge cluster ??

I replaced a few gauges in my gauge cluster and am in the process of reassembly but have hit a complication. I am trying to attach the needles to the temp and fuel gauges but one of them wont go in. What is a quick way to fix this. Should i use glue????

Any advice would be appriciated

I fixed the cluster, reinstalled it and come to find out the fuel and temp gauges dont work still. Could there be a bad fuse to look for or a faulty wire that could be causing this?

What did you originally do? replace the gauge faces? the fuel and temp needles are not supposed to come off, They BREAK!!! thats why most colored faces are overlays.

originally my temp and fuel gauges were not functioning. So i bought another gauge cluster with supposedly working gauges, took the cluster i had apart, swapped the gauge part behiend the needle and installed it. In the process of removing the needles from the gauges, they broke. I am not so sure they are not working because of faulty gauges. Any input ?(sorry if my explination is hard to understand)
