I decided to sell the Neuspeed bars I had. I know they were 22mm, but the stock DA bar is too, its just not solid. I had access to a free bar from my brothers DA that is sitting in my driveway waiting for me to finish putting the head on. So I did a switcheroo today. I also installed new endlinks as well. I took it for a testdrive after finally getting my car running (see https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1317360). The DA bar is hollow and much lighter compared to the Neuspeed, but it feels alot tighter compared to the OE bar (when crnering).
The install is about as straight forward as one can get, the only difficult part is reinstalling the 2 middle brackets on the bar. The CRX brackets use a tab and one bolt where as the DA brackets use 2 bolts. It is a bit of a struggle getting the CRX tab over the DA bushing and bar. To make it easier you can support the bar with the little OE jack and push it up into place so it will hold while you start the bolts back in.

why would you want a stronger bar up front, wouldnt you want the bigger one in the rear.
I think the stock civic sway bar is fine. Honda dont need more understeer

My ST rear bar is on the way
I did the front first mainly because I was bored, and my endlink bushings were already worn out and a bit sloppy. So I went ahead and did the front, my rear should be here Wednesday.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by PURPLETERROR »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Any loss in performance from switching to the da bar from the neuspeed bar?</TD></TR></TABLE>
No, the bars are identical other than weight. The Neuspeed bar weighs about 3 times as much. Laying all 3 bars on the ground side by side , the DA and Neuspeed are identical. I only rode the Neuspeed for a few days, pulled it back off and sold the set.

ST lists it as a 7/8 bar, 22mm
