Default GSR and i have no low end power

i bought a 94 LS and did a motor swap with a GSR. and i have no low end power, no acceleration whats so ever. But the thing is i had this problem even before i swaped out the motor. so its gotta be something that i kept on the car.(fuel system, ignition)my timings all good, new plugs and wires, so i dont think that its the ignition. im thinking maybe fuel filter, fuel lines, injectors, or maybe even the fuel pump isnt pushin out enough fuel. but something is really messed up.i feel like some kid on a bike could out peddle me on his bike. its that bad. but in all seriousness please help me out if you can

you cant just expect us to tell you what your problem is....

you started out right, maybe fuel, maybe ignition. NOW GO TEST IT!!! if it was me, i'd start with fuel pressure.

HEY MAN YOU ARE RIGHT THERE ARE MANY THINGS YOU CAN LOOK FOR.

FIRST AND FORMOST YOU SHOULD HAVE SWAPED OUT ALL THE FUEL LINES AT THE SAME TIME BUT IF NOT AT LEAST RUN PROLONG 0-60 OCTANE BOOSTER AND FUEL INJESTOR CLEANER AS WELL.

THAT WILL CLEAR ANY CLOGS. BUT BEFORE YOU DO THAT MAKE SURE THE FILTER IS CLEAN AS WELL. (FUEL)

ALSO KNOW THIS THAT GSR ARE NOT KNOW FOR THERE LOW END TORUQE BUT FOR THERE TOP END TRY GIVING UP ONE OF YOU THE FINNER THINGS IN THE CAR LIKE AC OR POWER STEERING MIGHT HELP AS WELL. PLACES LESS STRAIN ON THE CRANK. YOU CAN ALSO TRY USING A LIGHTER CRANK PULLEY AS WELL. ALSO TRY ADVANCING THE TIMING AS WELL.

AND ANOTHER OPTION THAT YOU CAN TRY THAT I DID WITH MY GSR IS TAKE OUT THE HEAD AND SWAP OUT FOR A B16 POOR MANS TYPE R ITS NICE.
I GOT THE LOW AND THE TOP END

...wow, that was intelligent...

anyways, look, we can't help you if you arent willing to try anything. i could throw out a million different possibilites, but what is that gonna do unless you go out and acually test anything?

i've had this problem before on my b18 crx and it never went away. i change brand new dizzy, wires, plugs, fuel filter, ecu. nothing. it feels like you're gasing but getting no power right? like one of your cylinders is dead. you getting any check engine lgiht? try using your friend ecu and if it still ike that then you just eliminated one possibilty. but best thing is to bring to a mechanic cuz i waste so much money and stillc ouldnt fix it. but most mechanics are reluctant to work on a car with a swap. good luck

i never stated that i wasnt trying and/or going to test other different things. i have gone and tested my fuel system. i put a pressure gauge on my fuel filter and im at about 40 psi. which is a normal read out.and ignition is good to go.i do have a CEL for my O2 sensor.

GEEZ!!! that woulda helped if you told us you had a cel for an 02 sensor. well, the good news is, its gonna be easier to diagnose the car now, the bad news is, you are most likely going to need a scanner (it would help you out a TON). i suggest OTC's handheld. it's pretty good for basic stuff like this. runs like 2-3 bills.

you are going to need a Voltmeter for the following

from the conditions you are telling me now 2 things come to mind. first it sounds like an open circuit. I would check sensor voltage (the input wire to the sensor). Then i would check sensor resistance (the input wire to the PCM coming out of the sensor). if you get voltage b4 the sensor and not after, its a bad sensor. but if your getting 1-5V after the sensor check voltage at the PCM. find a diagram of all the pin out's and probe the appropriate pin out. my guess is you will read 0V at the pin out.

if you diagnose properly and find out it isnt the ckt(circuit) or bad sensor. then it could be a shitload of mechanical problems. fuel pressure, exhaust leak, maybe your computer is staying in open loop, who knows. first check and see what the circuit tells you, that will point you in the right direction.

gl and keep us posted

whats your full setup- ecu matched to motor- if you are running the wrong ecu- it will run like ****- no power sounds like you have an ignition problem to me - even though you think its right go back and look again !- the fuel problem is an easy fix - buy a filter- and some injector cleaner- lol but yea gl

did you change out the tranny as well? if you are using the LS tranny that could be why your accel sucks.

i just noticed that same problem in my 2000 gsr and was gonna post a new topic about it but since i saw your post...might as well join in?...feels like its not pulling like its supposed to...theres no leaks, tranny is good...still pulls, but not as strong as i remembered it pulling...i guess the only difference between our problems is that you have no low end whatsoever...and i just noticed a loss in low end....so if anyone can help US both?...it will be greatly appreciated!

OMFG!! LOL!! dude, first you're throwing a CEL which will make you run rich and retard your timing automatically...and then you're using an LS tranny!! THERE MY FRIEND ARE ALL YOUR PROBLEMS!!! try getting a GSR/ITR/B16 tranny and fix that CEL and you'll have your power back.

i just swapped in a 99 GSR motor into my 94 LS last weekend and it pulls alot harder than my LS did for some reason. maybe it's the higher compression? maybe cause it's a new motor? or maybe cause i somewhat tunned it before i started running it(new skunk2 IM, free flow cat, tunned timing, fuel system upgrade)

i needed a motor to run for awhile and just decided on a GSR. my buddies convinced me to get a GSR actually...they told me that since i was able to extract that much power out of an LS...i would probably be able to squeeze more out of a Vtec motor. so we'll see. i've got plans already for my next turbo project, but school and mortgage is really killing me.
