dumb question, D and B series ignition wires the same?

dumb question, D and B series ignition wires the same?
I highly doubt they are but getting mixed answers fmor friends and they arn't really sure. flame me if will 
haha but just curious cus i have a bad wire on my b series and wondering if i can throw in my d series plugs to drive my car to smog, then use those from now on. ALSO, what are the difference if someone does know. I'll try to learn att he same time, so are tghey longer? different spark? just curious

the lenghts are different i dont think the D are long enough to hook to the spark plug on a B motor, other than that they are the same

so are u 100% positive? i dont' wnana **** anything up, and liek 10 peeps i don't know don't have ONE spare wire or one spare set
